Jananath Warakagoda, Musician and Son of Veteran Artist Wijeratne Warakagoda has been remanded till March 18 by the Mahara Magistrates Court. The vehicle he was driving was involved in a fatal accident which killed a 68-year-old woman on a pedestrian crossing opposite the Kirillawala Divisional Secretariat today morning. Police are carrying out further investigations into the incident.
