Navy recovers explosives used for illegal fishing  

A group of naval personnel attached to the Eastern Naval Command recovered few explosive items hidden in a scrub, during a search carried out in the beach area of Sagarapura yesterday (11). During the search, 2 water gel sticks, 8 non electric detonators and 5 safety fuses were seized and the items are currently being held at the armoury of SLNS Walagamba.
