Sri Lanka Cricket has unveiled its 25-member provisional squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, confirming Dasun Shanaka as the team’s captain for the global tournament.
The squad features a mix of experienced campaigners and emerging talent, reflecting the selectors’ focus on depth and balance as preparations gather pace ahead of the competition. The final lineup will be announced nearer to the start of the World Cup.
The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 will be jointly hosted by Sri Lanka and India.
