At the 2025 World Athletics Championships held in Tokyo, Japan, Melissa Jefferson of the United States won the women’s 100m event.
She completed the race in 10.61 seconds.
Meanwhile, the men’s 100m title was claimed by Oblique Seville of Jamaica, who finished the race in 9.77 seconds.
