The Sri Lanka squad for the ICC Women’s One Day International Cricket World Cup was officially announced this afternoon (10).
The 15-member squad will be led by Chamari Athapaththu, with Anushka Sanjeewani named as vice-captain.
This year’s Women’s World Cup will be held from the 30th of this month to the 2nd of November, co-hosted by Sri Lanka and India.
Sri Lanka is scheduled to play its opening match against India on the 30th in Guwahati.
