Bath Turns Tragic as Child Drowns in Dewahuwa Reservoir

An 11-year-old boy from Dewahuwa, Galewela, drowned while bathing in the Dewahuwa Reservoir with his father and relatives, police said. He was pulled under by strong currents and later recovered by locals, but was pronounced dead upon admission to Galewela Hospital.
