Former parliamentarian and organizer for the Kolonnawa district S.M. Marikkar has been appointed as the media spokesperson for the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB). The appointment letter was handed over to Marikkar by SJB Leader Sajith Premadasa, today (13).
Accordingly, Marikkar has been tasked with propagating SJB's policies to the masses and to counter opposing views against the party in an organised manner.
S.M. Marikkar rose to prominence in the field of communications and made a name for himself while serving as a head of the Sirasa media group.
