The Colombo Magistrate's Court has ordered that Member of Parliament Chamara Sampath Dassanayake and his private secretary, who are in remand custody over corruption allegations, be further remanded until November 10.
Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama issued the order after considering submissions made by officers of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) and lawyers representing the suspects.
