A timekeeping officer attached to the Gampaha Regional Office of the Road Passenger Transport Authority has been arrested over allegations of soliciting and accepting a bribe of Rs. 100 from a bus employee.

The arrest was made yesterday (20) at around 12.25 p.m. by officers of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) inside the suspect’s office booth at the Raddolugama bus stand.
