A 74-year-old man has been killed in a shooting incident reported on Malani Bulathsinghala Mawatha in Boralesgamuwa a short while ago.
According to Police, two unidentified individuals arrived at the location on a motorcycle and carried out the shooting while the victim was at his residence.
The shooting was reportedly carried out using a pistol.
Police identified the deceased as a 74-year-old resident of the Boralesgamuwa area.
Boralesgamuwa Police have commenced investigations based on information received and are conducting further inquiries to identify and arrest the suspects.
