Thimbirigasyaya has recorded the highest rainfall in Sri Lanka, with 146.6 mm during the 24-hour period ending at 6.00 a.m. today (07), according to the Disaster Management Centre (DMC).

Mattakkuliya recorded the second-highest rainfall at 125.5 mm, followed by Bopagama with 117.6 mm.
